Obituary of Prabhudial Ramdhar
On January 25th 1960 the village on Zeeburg West Coast Demerara in Guyana welcomed a beloved child by the name of Prabhudial Ramdhar also known to many as Serry to the late Ada Ramdhar and Likranee Singh. Serry would go on to spending most of his life at Parika, East Bank Essequibo, Leguan Island in the Essequibo River and current Toronto, Canada.
Serry started out his life’s story and journey as a farmer in the 1978, where he was introduced to this beautiful woman name Basdai Ramdhar (Rosa) whom he fondly called Rose. Defying all odds in 1978 Serry and Rosa tied the knot and their lives blossomed into a magnificent love story that was filled with many happy years where they welcomed three (3) beautiful children.

It is with heavy hearth and deep sorrows we announce the passing of Prabhudial Ramdhar aka Serry, a cherished son, devoted husband, loving father and dear brother. He departed this world on April 6th, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, unwavering love to the ones he left behind.
He was the Son of the late Ada Ramdhar and Likranee Singh
Son-in-law of the late Naroon and Jinya
Devoted husband of Rosa
Loving Father of Amrita, Ravi and Kris
Beloved Grandfather of Ryan and Mia.
Caring Father-in-law of Nathan, Sandra and Linda
Loving Brother of Richie, Reggie, the late Chandra, Richard, Terry, Kamla and Vijay
Beloved Brother-in-law of Teacher Nandani, Shirley, Thakur, Sharmilla, Nellie, Chan, and the late Dataline, Doodnauth and Rita
Loving uncle of Surendra, Damian, Deanna, Nicholas, Nicole, Lalita,Anita, Sunita, Ramesh, and many others.
Prabhudial Ramdhar aka Serry may no longer be with us physically, but his memory will forever shine brightly within us all forever. Let us remember Serry for his kindness, joy, love, inspiration he has brought into our lives. As we grieve this loss, may we find solace and strength in the knowledge that Serry’s legacy will live on in the countless lives he has touched.
We invite all those who knew Prabhudial Ramdhar aka Serry to join us in bidding farewell to a loving and remarkable soul a beloved Husband and Father.
